The Pleasant Valley Education Foundation improves student achievement by supporting programs which provide hands-on learning in arts and technology. We focus the resources that we generate on K-8 public school students in Camarillo, CA.
The Pleasant Valley Education Foundation (PVEF) is a non-profit 501c3 organization where businesses, schools, educators, parents and community volunteers come together to advance hands-on opportunities in what is now called STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) for Camarillo K-8 public school students.
Let’s face it, public education is free but a quality education is not. Education budgets are slim and getting slimmer each year. Sure, individual schools in affluent areas can tap parents for extra funding. But our community’s aspirations for a better future require broad-based public support for all of our children.
PVEF serves all of the public schools in Camarillo, ensuring that high-quality programs are available to all of our kids. PVEF has a history of supporting those hands-on programs that have been proven to enhance and accelerate crucial skills for the 21st Century, preparing our kids for lifelong success.
